Story
Aashi alias Ashirwad (Panja Vaishnav Tej) is a poor young man from a fishing family in Uppada village. He accompanies his father in the fish business. Bebamma alias Sangeetha (Kriti Shetty), daughter of the village elder, businessman Rayanam (Vijaya Sethupathi) is his life. Loves Bebamma since childhood. But Bebamma did not know this. On the other hand, for Rayana, dignity means life. Commits any atrocity for the sake of dignity. It doesn't matter if life is gone, but he thinks the honor should not go away.
He joins the Women's College for fear that his daughter will fall in love and tarnish his image. He also takes a bus to the village, especially for his daughter. However, for some reason, Bebamma falls in love with Aashi. Rayana finds out that his daughter has fallen in love due to an incident and tries to seduce Bebamma. With this, Bebamma runs away with Aashi. However, for some reason, Aashi returns Bebamma to Rayana. Why did Ashi return the babe she loved more than her life? Did Rayana, who gives his life for dignity, accept his daughter's love? What did Ashi lose in order to find love? The rest is the story of how the couple finally came together.
Cast
This is the first film for Vaishnav Tej, who impressed as a child artiste in Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan films, as a hero. But the average viewer may not remember that this is the first film for Vaishnav. Mega nephew Vaishnav Tej played the role of a poor boy named Aashi. Although it was the first film, the hero acted with great maturity. Acted very well in emotional scenes. Kriti Shetty gave life to the role of Bebamma. Although it was the first movie .. she acted like a very experienced heroine. After Vaishnav Tej, Vijay Sethupathi is the most mature character in the film. This typical actor became involved in the role of a villain named Rayanam. Sethupathi's acting is the highlight of the film.
Analysis
Prestige and love movies have come a long way in Tollywood. The poor boy loves the rich girl, and the heroine's dad interrupts that love for the sake of dignity. We finally saw in a lot of movies that somehow the hero heroines come together. Movies like this are also very common. Director Buchibabu tried to show this story in a new way. The director is half successful in selecting a typical actor like Vijayasethupathi, a hero from a mega family for his story. Although it was his first film, he showed the story on screen without getting bored.
But as long as you watch the movie, the scenes in many movies come to mind. Some scenes in the first half feel stretched. The romantic scenes between the hero and the heroines also go on as a routine. Even in the second half, many scenes are reminiscent of old movies. The only secret revealed in the climax is the highlight of the movie. The scenes related to Aashi's father Jalayya, the scenes from the pre-climax to the end provoke emotion.
The scenes between Kriti Shetty and Vijay Sethupathi at the end are impressive. Another highlight of the film is the music by Devisree Prasad. He expanded the range of the film with his own songs and background music. He enlivened some scenes related to the villain with his BGM. Shyam Dutt visuals are good. Naveen nooli editing never mind. Production values are close to the cinematic level. The director has been somewhat successful in convincing us that 'love is a whole new definition.'
