The fourth season of Stranger Things is one of the most anticipated by fans. The hit Netflix original production made its debut in 2016 and has since established itself as one of the fan-favorite sci-fi stories.
The last time fans saw Eleven and her group of friends battle strange creatures was in 2019 when the platform debuted its third season. Since then the followers of the show have been waiting for any news that may provide some indication of what is to come in the new chapter of history.
This year the platform released some previews of the fourth season, which is already shaping up to be the darkest and most terrifying of all. But another element that will also be present is romance. Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, said season 4 will be "unexpected and romantic."
Although the actor did not make big revelations about the future of the show, he did offer some details of what awaits the beloved group of characters that make up Stranger Things. He even assured that fans can expect something "unexpected, romantic, and exciting."
Schnapp is confident that this will be the best season ever. He even rescues that, like each installment, this time he had to work with new people, something that opened his eyes and allowed him to have a good time on the film set.
For his part, Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, once again stressed that the new season will be terrifying. The actor said that this time around, fans will have a chance to see something completely new, as the Duffer brothers are doing things that people haven't seen before.
The latest trailer for Stranger Things that premiered during TUDUM, Netflix's global event, hinted at that most terrifying side of the story. The latest trailer introduced Creel House, a new setting where a brutal murder took place in the 1950s, and which undoubtedly has some connection to the present. Also, do not forget that season 4 will feature one of the horror icons, as Robert Englund, who played the terrifying Freddy Krueger, will play Victor Creel.
The premiere date of the fourth season of Stranger Things is not entirely certain, but it is known that it will arrive in 2022.
