Vaishnav Tej, the nephew of Chiranjeevi and the younger brother of Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej, was introduced as the hero in the movie 'Uppena' which got huge revenue on the first day. Released in theaters on February 12, the film is making record collections at the box office. The movie 'Uppena' earned a share of Rs 10.42 crore worldwide on its opening day. 3.08 crore in Nizam and Rs. 1.43 crore in Vizag. In the East and West regions, Rs. 0.98 crore, Rs. 0.81 crores Received. Vaishnav Tej set an all-time record as the highest-grossing debut hero on the first day as he made huge collections on the first day.

Krithishetti, Vijay Sethupathi, and Rajiv Kanakala are the lead roles in the love and emotional drama film. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film, which was directed by Buchibabu Sana. The song 'Nee Kainnu Neeli Samudram' written by Srimani was a huge hit and worked hard to make the film even more successful.
