Nokia (HMD Global) is currently working on the launch of new 5G phones for the mid-range segment in its newly launched Nokia G line. In April of this year, the Nokia G10 and G20 were presented. It seems that the company will make a leap in terms of numbering since its next launch would be the Nokia G50.
We still do not know when the future Nokia G50 5G will be officially launched. Anyway, before the launch takes place, the medium Winfuture.de has shared the first leaked renders with the design of the future terminal. Furthermore, several of its key specifications and features have also been confirmed. Everything indicates that the intelligent one will not take long to become official.
Leaked renderings of the Nokia G50 5G
The leaked promotional images of the Nokia G50 5G show that it will be available in at least a couple of colors: Midnight Sun and Blue. Moving to the front, the device makes use of a classic design with a drop-shaped notch for its screen, in which its front camera sensor will be incorporated. The rear area of the smartphone seems to be made of polycarbonate and is home to a circular-shaped camera module, in which three camera sensors are distributed along with an LED flash.
The Nokia G50 5G has its volume buttons on the right frame. Below these buttons is a power button, which is integrated with a fingerprint reader. Then, on the left side, there is present a voice assistant button available to invoke the Google Assistant.
Leaked Specifications and Features
According to the leaks, the Nokia G50 5G will hit the market with a 6.38-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution support (720 x 1560 pixels) and apparently a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Internally, it would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 480 chipset. It is powered by a 4,850 mAh battery, with no details on its charging speed. The smartphone will run the Android 11 operating system as standard.
Its rear camera system would be commanded by a 48-megapixel main sensor. Other reports have revealed that it can arrive in a couple variants according to its capacity: 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage. To conclude, it is quite likely that it will become official during September.
