Jake Gyllenhaal wanted to explain in an interview for Howard Stern, from The Independent, how he felt on the set of 'Spider-Man: Far from home. Gyllenhaal acknowledged that working for the Marvel Cinematic Universe was "completely different" than what he was used to. So much so that he first experienced what it was like to have an anxiety attack.

"It is difficult. It is a difficult performance because that world is gigantic. And I joined the universe when I had already been filming for a long time, I got on a moving train," says the actor adding a "normally, I arrive early and fix it.", regarding said nerves.

But this time Gyllenhaal's strategy didn't work. "I was going crazy. I was in a sequence with Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Holland ... and there were several actors in that scene. And I remember that I couldn't remember my lines. I felt like a wooden plank." Such was his discomfort that he asked his partner Tom Holland for help: "I went after Tom Holland and said, 'Uncle, help me.' He replied, 'Everything is fine, man. Relax.' It was like he felt like me in a lot of situations. Then I finally relaxed. I had to go up to the rest of the guys and say, 'I just got off-Broadway doing a solo show for an hour and a half on stage, so I can handle this.'

Although it is rumored that the actor could once again put himself in the shoes of his character Mysterio in future MCU projects, neither party has confirmed it.
