The confrontation between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel already has more chapters than a soap opera. The comments come and go and there was even a rapprochement, but at this point, it is very clear that they simply do not understand each other and neither is willing to give in.
The public explosion of their disagreements occurred a week before the completion of the filming of 'Fast & Furious 8', a film that managed to have Johnson on the condition that he and Diesel did not share any scene. This measure should not have been enough because Johnson unburdened himself in an Instagram post (which he later ended up deleting) charging against his co-star and leader of the saga.

About that approach
In his day there was talk that both stars had met to try to resolve their differences, something that Johnson himself now denies, stating that a friendly relationship did not come from there, but the confirmation that this was never going to be possible.
Johnson affirms that for him it was not a "peaceful" meeting and that at that moment he understood that both are two very different people who approach work in Hollywood in very different ways.
"There was a meeting," says Johnson. "But I wouldn't call it a peaceful meeting. I would say it was a meeting where everything was clarified.
